W Bros Neil Armstrong and Eddie Wildman will be presenting The Night Soil Men hosted by Lord Bolton Lodge 3263 at Beverley Road Hull tyling at 18:30. This illustrated drama examines the life and times of a cesspit operative in Victorian Hull with the various characters played by Eddie and Neil. Not for the squeamish!
There are Masonic connections, well illustrated by the doughty 
duo. Recommended to all Freemasons and others! (Has been delivered as a Zoom presentation to Rotary and elsewhere. Highly recommended.)

The Phoenix Lodge 9963 is hosting a costumed performance of Writing the Minutes which is set in 1765. The long-suffering Secretary is attempting to record the events of the previous day's initiation ceremony despite the interruptions of the annoyingly persistent Right Worshipful Master and Senior Warden. The participants are played (in costume) by Craig Maurier, Tom Cawkwell and Eddie Wildman, aided by Neil Armstrong operating the screen images.
Brethren are invited on this occasion to wear eighteenth century clothing if they wish (the WM wears a tricorn in this Lodge) though regular Masonic regalia must be worn. The Lodge tyles promptly at 7:00pm in the Sail Loft at the Sailmakers Arms, 159 High St Hull. Brethren are advised to arrive early to avail themselves of a drink in the bar below, and to order a drink for the convivial libations in the toasts afterwards. There is no meal; the Lodge starts later so that those who wish may eat beforehand, or are arriving straight from work.
